Singles' Nyt/Xmas Party & Induction of new Board of Trustees
December 18, 2008 | Announcement

That many events in a night ...a success!

Thanks be to God, the December 13 Singles' Night/2008 ASMSI Christmas Party and the Induction of the new sets of the Board of Trustees were exciting, full of fun and have become a venue for camaraderie among the graduates.

It was spiced by the participation of a charming & kind-hearted guest singer, Mr. Dingson Balahadia, a stage actor/singer who's into Musical play mostly, and is performing in Asia & the US. (He's saying thank you also to all of us he met and promised to be back and be a future donor in his little ways).

Thanks to Kuya Mark Mojica for sponsoring the roses to make the event thrilling & lovely!

Kuya John Estrelles (who told me never to mention) sponsored our mobile (lights & sounds) to make the event complete. He also made a sharing - his story of starting even from menial jobs, which he was never ashamed of... up to his present situation...his success! We salute you Kuya John!

The Hephep Hooray game, Trip to Jerusalem (per couple) & the others were all fun!

There were also these - "Hanapin ang iyong kapuso", giving of roses to our ladies by our gents, and the awarding of Couples of the Night (Ate Nancy Roxas,6th batch & Kuya John Estrelles,2nd batch were the winners) & the Prince & Darling of the Night for which Ate Nova, 6th batch & Kuya Alex (the bachelor kuya Alex from 2nd batch) won the award.

The dawn party was made more fun (and take note that everybody was dancing!) with the "Hataw" dances and moves! (Whew, I can't help but so much enjoyed this event, PROMISE!).

More so, the event made us able to donate a total amount of Php 5,403.85 to the Fr. Al's Children Foundation (FACFI). This is our little Christmas present to the Children.

The induction of the new set of the Board of Trustees also took place. The ASMSI "Key", through VP Kuya Alex Flores(in behalf of ASMSI President, Ate Eden Cabrera), was passed on to the next ASMSI President, Kuya Alejo San Buenaventura. Also led by Kuya Alex, the ensuing Board of Trustees made their faithful oath-taking.

On the morning of December 14, 2008, during the Holy Mass, a solemn pledge of the Board of Trustees also happened. They were blessed with Fr. Joseph Kim, Superior of the Brothers of Christ. A simple refreshment followed after the Mass.

It is likewise an honor and a blessing to finally announce the 2009-2010 ASMSI Officers & the Board of Trustees as follows:

Vice President - Ms. Weena May Martinez-Lozano (9th batch)

I don’t think I will ever find enough words to thank Fr. Al. I will be forever grateful, not to mention the best education he provided, not only to me but also to the rest of the kids all over the world…most of all he put forth the love of Christ through his examples and sacrifices for us his children.
